The Great Crash of 2007

About two weeks ago the hard drive to my laptop crashed. I'm still trying to figure out how to save my data. I heard from somewhere that if you put a crashed hard drive in a freezer for a few hours you might then be able to access the drive for a few minutes, giving you enough time to salvage whatever you can. That didn't work for me. So as of now everything that was on my laptop is gone. Photos of friends and cousins are gone. Videos of intense cap playing are gone. The journal is gone. The "30 Things To Do Before I Turn 30" list is gone.

On the bright side all is not lost. I was able to email myself some of the more important things. An old journal is online. It's missing a few of the recent entries. An old 30 Things list is online. This list still has #27-Stop Cursing. Like that shit is gonna happen. The more important photos and videos are on my flickr and youtube account.

Let this be a lesson to all of you. If there is anything remotely important on your computer you better email it to yourself, back it up on to a dvd, or print them out and bury it under a willow tree. You're computer is a ticking time bomb and once it does crap out on you you'll be happy that the willow tree was around to save the day.
