New on my iPod is a song called Little Person, composed by Jon Brion. The song is from the film Synecdoche, New York. The movie came out earlier this year and was the directorial debut of one Charlie Kaufman. Charlie Kaufman is the genius that wrote Being John Malkovich, Adaptation, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Unfortunately Synecdoche, New York went waaaaay over my head. However the soundtrack is excellent and is highlighted by this tune, featuring jazz vocalist Deanne Storey. If you know of any other tunes that have this vibe, then please send them over.

Kelly Clarkson @ San Jose State Event Center 11/29/09
Kelly Clarkson performed at the San Jose State Events Center this past weekend. She's not the best performer in the world but she definitely has an amazing voice. And she keeps it real. Here are a few clips from the night:
This was my favorite song of the night. In this clip she does a mashup of "That I Would Be Good" by Alanis Morissette and "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon.

This was the last song of the night. I remember this song played during the NYE countdown from 2006-2007. What a terrible night. Ask Chapman about it.
